PRODUCT INFORMATION

A stone sealer primarily intended for enhancing the appearance of slasto and other porous stone surfaces such as rosestone, coloured stone, crazy paving, etc. Can be used on both interior and exterior stone surfaces.

PRODUCT USES

Slasto and other porous stone surfaces such as rosestone, coloured stone, crazy paving, etc.

FEATURES

Helps prevent powdering and the penetration of dirt into the stone surface.
It also makes cleaning easier.
Comes in matt and gloss finishes
Can be used on both interior and exterior surfaces

PREPERATION

Old surfaces should have all dirt and dust removed from areas to be sealed using a hard bristle or wire brush.
The surface should then be scrubbed well using a solution of household detergent in water, rinsed thoroughly with clean water and allowed to dry completely.
Newly built surfaces should be allowed to mature for at least four weeks before using the stone sealer.
Any building residue should be removed with a solution of 1 part hydrochloric acid in 5 - 10 parts water (CAUTION: CORROSIVE), rinsed thoroughly with water and allowed to dry completely.

APPLICATION

Dilution is not recommended.
On floors and other horizontal surfaces, pour Nova 2 stone sealer onto the surface and spread evenly with a Genkem Bourne applicator or brush.
Work in well to ensure that no pooling occurs, especially in crevices.
On walls and other vertical surfaces, apply with a brush.
If required, a second coat of stone sealer may be applied after the first coat has dried.
Clean equipment and spillages with Nova 11 Brush Cleaner before the Nova 2 has dried.

HINTS & TIPS

Do not apply if temperature is below 5° C or in wet conditions.
Not recommended for walls where water penetration from the other side is likely.
Nova 2 stone sealer is not recommended for areas around pools, as the surface becomes slippery when wet.
Flammable until film is dry.
Nova 2 Matt and Nova 2 Gloss have completely different compositions, and are not compatible.
